Dr Nimna studied medicine in Sri Lanka and has been practicing medicine over 20 years. She moved to Australia in 2011 with her husband and three children and started her GP career in Bunbury. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has completed the Diploma in Child Health. She moved to Perth in 2017 and joined Lakes Medical. She has an interest in Women’s Health and performs Implanon contraceptive implant insertion and Mirena coil insertion. She also performs minor skin procedures and iron infusions.
When she is not working, Dr Nimna enjoys gardening, cooking and baking.

Dr Jan was born in London, UK and graduated from Imperial College in 2003. Before entering general practice, she trained in Internal Medicine at some of London’s most prestigious hospitals and has achieved Membership of both the Royal Colleges of Physicians and General Practitioners (UK). She has also completed the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. After 10 years in UK general practice, she moved to Perth in 2019 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She takes a patient-centred, holistic approach, providing consultations in all aspects of General Practice and has particular interests in chronic disease management, heart disease and diabetes, preventative healthcare, women's and children's health.
Outside work, Dr Jan is kept busy with her three young children and they have enjoyed exploring WA together, with the dolphins of Monkey Mia being a particular highlight! She also enjoys walking, cooking and reading.

Dr Ferris graduated from Newcastle University in 2006 and trained in London and Manchester on a Surgical/ENT programme prior to training in General Practice. She moved to Perth in 2016. She has interests in ENT and Minor Surgery, Women's Health, Child Health, Preventative Health, Implant insertion and removal and performs mole checks.
When she is not at work, Dr Ferris enjoys spending time with her three young children mixed with plenty of baking, music and walking her dog at the beach.

Dr Gos’ career has evolved from the humble role of Hospital Porter right through to Clinical Director of a Healthcare Informatics company. Dr Gos was born in London and completed a degree in Physiology and Pharmacology at University College London before studying Medicine in Scotland. After graduating, he trained in surgery at some of London’s most prestigious hospitals undertaking roles in Plastic Surgery where he developed his interest in skin cancer. Dr Gos transitioned to General Practice in 2011 as in his words, “I just like talking to people” but has continued to maintain his surgical skills, performing skin lesion removal alongside his regular GP work. He has served on WAPHA’s Health Pathways Working Groups for both Disabilities and Skin Cancer. He consults on all aspects of General Practice and is passionate about teaching and training, overseeing the training of our current GP registrar.
In his free time, Dr Gos enjoys playing Lego with his three young kids, coaching cricket and getting dirty in his four-wheel drive!
Dr Muddu is an experienced doctor, graduating in 2002. He worked as a GP in India for over seven years before moving to Australia to further his training and career. He has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including healthcare management and administration. Dr Muddu has interests in all aspects of General Practice.
Outside of work, Dr Muddu is married to another GP and struggles to escape the dinner table medical discussions. He has two young boys who help to distract him from his love of medicine. He can often be found with his boys in the garden or in the kitchen, mastering his culinary skills. He is a keen collector of stamps and coins and more recently has started collecting matchboxes!

Dr Knight was born in Huddersfield in the United Kingdom and completed a BSc in Pharmacology in 2003, before going on to study Medicine at the UK’s Keele University. Dr Knight worked as a GP in the UK, before relocating to Perth in 2017. Dr Knight consults on all aspects of General Practice and her interests include Women's Health and Dermatology. She is skilled in Dermoscopy, Implanon insertion and removal, as well as contraceptive coil insertion and removal.
Dr Knight enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that Australia has to offer. She loves running, hiking and yoga. She can often be found chasing her two young sons and her dog along the Swan River!

Dr Vish is a caring and compassionate doctor and is a firm favourite with young families. Dr Vish completed his Medical School training in India and has been working as a GP since 2010. He moved to Australia in 2015 and enjoys all aspects of General Practice. He is competent in Implanon insertion and removals and has trained in Dermoscopy to be able to offer high quality skin checks and lesion removal.
Dr Vish is married and has a young daughter. In his spare time, Dr Vish enjoys playing badminton, following cricket and reading detective novels!

Dr Susie graduated from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland in 2000. She completed her General Practice training in the UK and Australia and then worked as a GP in England and Wales before moving to Western Australia in 2013. Upon arrival, she worked as a GP for four years at the Aboriginal Medical Service in Port Hedland before moving to Perth in 2017. Her areas of special interest include: Women's Health, Family Planning, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Healthcare and Homeless Health.
Dr Susie is married to a doctor and they have two children and a puppy named Tim Tam. When she is not working, Dr Susie can be found enjoying bush walks, cycle rides and gardening.

Dr Shiree was born in Sydney and grew up in the Blue Mountains. She spent nearly 10 years in the Royal Australian Navy before moving into medical research. She has lived in Perth for the last 25 years and studied Medicine at Notre Dame University in Fremantle. She has worked at a number of Perth hospitals including Fremantle, Rockingham and Fiona Stanley Hospitals. Dr Shiree is passionate about medicine and her interests include procedures, skin, veteran’s health and chronic disease management.
In her spare time Dr Shiree can be found doing humanitarian work in the floating villages in Cambodia. She enjoys baking various treats for the practice team and amateur bushwalking with her family!

Dr Dev is one of our most experienced doctors and enjoys the honour of being Perth GP’s Chief Medical Officer. He is responsible for ensuring that doctors across the Perth GP group keep themselves up to date through continuous professional development activities which he organises.
In his free time Dr Dev loves travelling and can often be found in some far-flung corner of the globe!
Dr Elisabeth is an experienced GP from the Netherlands. She has worked as a doctor since 2009 and as a General Practitioner since 2011. She has worked in The Netherlands, the Caribbean and Queensland before arriving in Western Australia in 2019. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018, a year after her arrival in Queensland. Dr Elisabeth enjoys the huge variety in her day to day practice, seeing all aspects of general practice. She has a special interest in chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease), children’s health, women’s health, sexual health and mental health. She is experienced in the insertion of contraceptive devices including Mirena coils and the Implanon implant. She values good communication with her patients and enjoys taking a holistic approach to her patients’ needs.
Outside her work she enjoys spending time with her family, kitesurfing and discovering more of WA. So far, Dr Elisabeth finds WA to be one of the best places to live and work!
BSc (Nursing)Janette is an experienced nurse and passionate about providing holistic care to her patients. She has worked in various clinical settings, from acute care to community healthcare. Janette commenced work at Lakes Medical in 2012 and enjoys being part of a collaborative team that provides the optimum care. Janette takes pride in mentoring nursing students at Lakes Medical for their community placements. She believes that nursing is a profession but also considers it to be a privilege, treasuring the relationships she has made with patients in her care.
On a personal level, Janette enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. Her hobbies include cooking, sewing, travelling and catching up with friends!
Erika was born in the Philippines and trained as a nurse there before moving to Perth in 2013. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Curtin University. She worked in a psychiatric and aged care sectors before finding her home amongst the welcoming and growing family of Lakes Medical. Erika loves assisting in surgical procedures, is passionate about mental health and always strives to improve her nursing skills and clinical knowledge. She has an amazing bedside manner and easily earns the trust and rapport of her patients.
Outside of nursing, Erika adores her dog Laney, enjoys playing piano and guitar, building miniature models, listening to heavy metal music, collecting pop vinyl records and Lego photography!
Kat worked in community services before she began her nursing career, graduating from Murdoch University's School of Nursing. She loves primary healthcare and relishes the endless learning opportunities that she encounters from the doctors, nurses and her patients at Lakes Medical.
In her free time, Kat enjoys spending time with her two children, her friends, and also listening to crime podcasts!

Amanda has extensive experience in private practice, public and non-profit sectors, working with students, older adolescents, adults, and couples. She has also done lots of work with victims of trauma including PTSD through working with Defence Personnel, Motor Vehicle Accident and Workers Compensation clients. With her compassionate, client centred approach, she assists patients with addictions, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties and other more severe mental health disorders.
Amanda’s clients report improvements from this approach and her use of treatment informed by good practice such as Trauma Focused CBT; EMDR, Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Integrated CBT (MiCBT).
Dr Douglas is an experienced clinical psychologist.

Lisa is a clinical psychologist who has extensive experience in mental health and childhood trauma. She has worked in community mental health clinics, Perth Children’s Hospital and private practice. Her experience is in working individually and with families through a trauma lens, with researched and evidenced based therapies. Lisa is accredited in Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as other interventions for children and adults with trauma and mental health conditions.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys walking along the beach, socialising with friends and spending quality time with her family.
Julian is a hugely popular and valued member of the medical team at Lakes Medical. He is a senior Physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience and has worked at Lakes Physiotherapy for Perth GP for the last two years. He Bulk-bills patients who have an EPC referral under a GP Management Plan and also treats private patients, workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents and DVA patients. Julian specialises in treating musculoskeletal, neurological, paediatric cases as well as older patients. Julian has post graduate qualifications in Acupuncture and takes patients through Hydrotherapy and gym programmes.
When he is not working, Julian loves getting involved in his children’s sports and enjoys surfing and fishing.
Jay is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who graduated in 2002 with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and then went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics at Curtin University. She is member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and a Member of the Coeliac Society WA.
Jay has special interests in the areas of weight management, gastrointestinal disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and stoma management. She also has interests in looking after patients with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, insulin resistance, polycystic ovarian syndrome and coeliac disease.
Jay focuses on an individual, patient centred approach to dietetics, translating nutrition science into practical information, creating specific and achievable goals for each patient. She also places an emphasis on a lifestyle-based approach for weight management and is passionate about creating positive experiences around foods. Jay offers Bulk-billed nutritional and dietary advice to patients with an EPC referral under a GP Management Plan. She also sees private patients at a competitive rate.
Dr Muthu is an experienced audiologist and offers hearing tests to both children and adults. He can provide advice to patients regarding hearing aids. He will Bulk-bill any patient with an EPC referral under a GP Management Plan. He also sees private patients at a competitive rate. He has been practising for almost 20 years and has worked in India, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne before settling in Perth. He has experience in many sectors including working as a Paediatric Audiologist and an Educational Audiologist at a school for deaf children. He has performed outreach Audiological services to Indigenous communities over 10 years. Dr Muthu treats every patient as though they were members of his own family. He holds his clinic at Lakes Medical every Monday afternoon.
Dr Muthu has three daughters and enjoys volunteering at the Hindu Temple and also teaches Tamil language to children of Tamil immigrants every Sunday.
